Anxiety
While anxiety is a natural response to stress, persistent or excessive anxiety can interfere with daily functioning, social interactions, and academic or work performance. Individuals may experience intense worries, fears, restlessness, or avoidance behaviours that go beyond typical stress responses. Physical symptoms such as rapid heartbeat, muscle tension, or difficulty sleeping may also occur.
How can we help?
Therapy helps individuals develop practical coping strategies, strengthen emotional resilience, and manage anxiety more effectively. Using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), individuals learn to recognise unhelpful thought patterns and develop healthier ways of responding to worries and fears.
When appropriate, we also integrate the DNA-V framework to help individuals better understand their thoughts and emotions while making choices aligned with their values.
Through therapy, individuals can gradually build confidence, reduce avoidance behaviours, and develop the skills needed to navigate everyday challenges with greater calm and control.
