Autism

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects how a child communicates, interacts socially, and responds to their environment.

Signs of ASD typically emerge in early childhood, although they may not always be immediately recognised. The core features of autism include difficulties with social communication and interaction, as well as restricted or repetitive patterns of behaviour, interests, or activities. Some children may develop spoken language, while others may have limited or no speech.

Children with ASD may experience challenges in expressing their needs and emotions, understanding social cues, and adapting to changes in routine. Sensory sensitivities—such as heightened reactions to sound, light, textures, or tastes—are also common and may affect daily activities, including eating. While autism is often identified in childhood, it is a lifelong condition, and with appropriate support, individuals can continue to develop skills and independence over time.

Early identification, together with a holistic and individualised approach to intervention, can play an important role in supporting a child’s development, learning, and overall well-being.

How can we help?

Our services are designed to nurture your child’s strengths while supporting their growth toward greater independence, confidence, and everyday success.

Using Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), we systematically teach communication, social skills, emotional regulation, and daily living abilities. Rather than simply managing behaviours, we focus on understanding their purpose and guiding children toward safer, more meaningful ways to express their needs.

Early support can make a meaningful difference. We work closely with families to create personalised plans that honour each child’s individuality and build practical skills that extend beyond therapy — into home, school, and the community.
